Connective music is what Melika really plays. She constantly seeks a true connection with her audience while performing. And her way of connecting is to allow them to be part of the music. She uses her environment as inspiration, as she let her body play the violin.

An orchestra of emotions, locations, performances and music schools, in which she has been the melody; this is how one can portray Melika’s life so far. The word gypsy was once used to describe her music playing, but it can equally describe her musical vagabond lifestyle that finally landed her in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. For now.
